SCORE!

I stopped in at a church rummage sale this morning and scored this two and a half foot terrarium, complete with screened top, UV light, heating pad and large feeding/watering bowl. It was only $5! The children are split on what critter we should get for it. Suggestions are a snake, a scorpion and a turtle. We will see.......

Bike Mechanic Daddy

Daddy put on his bike mechanic hat today and gave all the bicycles tune-ups. We also found a nice, older Trek at a garage sale for only $20, so we snagged it. My Honey got five bikes finished, one almost finished (we can't get a rear derailleur until Monday) and plans to do the new Trek tomorrow. It will need more attention than today's set. We need to watch garage sales for a couple more 20/24" bikes for growing Lambies. We have several bikes have been outgrown and will be sold when we have a garage sale of our own.

Books For Wilson

These are some of the Books For Wilson books.

Here are more. I have donations coming in all the time and work daily to add books onto the $5/$3 lists, the Amazon store and onto LibraryThing accounts: Wilson and Mommaofmany. I'm having so much fun doing this fundraiser! It'll be even funner to see pictures of Wilson in his Mommy and Daddy's arms!

Yard Sale Treasures

I went yard sale-ing this morning and found many treasures! This tub of REAL Legos? $5!

Almost all of these books are going to be listed for Wilson. Just three four will be staying with us. (I was told that we do not have one of the books I thought we did)

FIVE pairs of good Rollerblades (one even Rollerblade brand!) to fit growing, active feet.

I also bought five pairs of kids jeans, a shirt, a pair of Teva shoes (for me!!), Vans and a pair of slip-on 'barn shoes'. All of this set me back a mere $19. I actually came home with change in my pocket still! Thanks, Lord, for the blessings.

An Antique

I bought this waffle maker for a dollar at a yard sale. I had hoped it would work better than the junky ones I have tried in the past few years. It certainly looks cool with its steel plates and wooden handle! Sad to say, though it heated up, it did not get hot enough to actually cook the waffle batter. The Lambies had waffle-batter-pancakes for breakfast.
